Our Children's classes are for children between the ages of 6 to 12. Its not just Martial Arts moves they will learn. In class as we reinforce the family values you teach at home. Teaching kids to have great character in their everyday life, as well as to learn to earn.
Along with our Martial Arts curriculum, We cover life skills such as Respect, Focus, Self-Control, Gratitude,Teamwork, Confidence, Leadership, Self-Discipline, Courtesy ect.
All students have a chance to earn a stripes on their belt each month. These stripes help the child towards earning their new belts.When earning each stripe they must demonstrate the required material proficiently. These small goals help them to feel the satisfaction of accomplishment through hard work and dedication. Just like school work, martial arts is best remembered through regular practice. Its recommend to set a time aside to practice 15mins daily.
Teen classes her at IMA are developed to bring out the best in your teenager. These classes are for ages 13 to 16. An environment where they learn to have respect for themselves and others. How not to give into peer pressure. Increased self esteem and cofindence. Self defense. A sense of pride in the things that they accomplish. The ability to retain information. Increased physical fitness to help in other sports or just to get and stay in shape, and many, many more benefits.

What style of martial arts do you teach?
The base style of our system is Chuan Fa Tang Shou, also known as Kenpo Karate.
How many martial arts classes may I take per week?
You may attend as many classes per week as the schedule will allow. However, it is recommended that you or your child participate in at least two per week to gain the full benefits of martial arts training.
